i have recently bought a series 1 executive and it dosnt have a tacho on the gauge cluster wich is kind of a bummer.like its only an auto but id like to know how many revs im doing.is it possible to swap to a cluster with a tacho out of another car without much trouble?.i dont want to buy one of those massive tacho with a shift light coz it just looks stupid in an auto.do i have any options?or am i doomed to never know how many RPM my car is doing?.any help would be great.
Yes it is quite easy. You will need to buy a level 2 instrument cluster which has the tacho built into it and it is just a matter of removing the old one and putting the new one in. I am not sure if the clusters in the series 2 fit the series one or visa versa but i am sure that someone on here will be able to clarify that for you.
What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.
Yep just swap it over,vn s1 and s2 are the same you can put a vp dash in but the left blinker light wont work unless you get the backing off the tacho vn dash, but if you dont know your blinkers on you should probably turn the music down :)
You can also put a lexen dash in,I use a vp lexen dash the numbers are on the inside of the lines so you dont have to duck down to see how fast your going if you have a smaller steering wheel
