My guess is you've got the wrong offset rims for the car. Either that or you tyre profile is too high. As MILD 50 said, give us your rim width, tire details, and if possible your rim offset. Someone will be able to help you. |

Yeah should be like 225/60 R16 or something- that'll be a good start in us offering advice.
Not riding you- just asking a couple of questions to clarify. |

Yes, i think you'll find you should be running a profile of 50, not 60, such as 215/50R16. Thats the tire size on my vn, and it doesn't rub at all. Best to get confirmation first. |

lol ha ha ha loose handling mate you could lose your life let alone handling cause eventually itll chew through your tyre n if your doing 100ks down a freeway then i hope you know how too stop with no front tyres its not a good idea too do that mate your better sticking your old rims back on till you get the tyres changed |

I would say what par10 was saying first is right and that the offset of the rims is wrong for the car. They may have the same stud pattern or very close but the offset could be different. |
What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared. |

I thought it would've been the offset too, but MUNTED said they are off a VS Statesman, which i can almost guarantee will fit a vn. This is why i am thinking it is the tyre profile, as i'm running 225/50R16's on my VN, and they are very close to the strut. My mate is running 205/55R16's on his, and i can't fit my finger between his tyres and the struts, thats how close they are. Best way to find out is to take it to a tyre shop. They will tell you straight up what is causing the problem and how to fix it... |

after i upgraded to 17's which are wider i noticed i could scrub out the tyres going around corners sharply. get proper directionals and you will be right. |
Cheers, Nodg. |
