I have 35 on my car and i am happy with it. Alot of people around here have been pulled up about it. It is also a pain in the backside at night. You will find yourself rolling down the window to see if anyone is coming at intersections. |
What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared. |

I've got 35% on mine and its plenty dark enough- and I live in hot ass Darwin!
I'm pretty sure the 100% true and correct writing says that your aren't allowed to have tint of any percentage on the front windows so you can be defected for that in most states... I personally wouldn't tempt fate going over legal- think about what else they might find if they starting going over your car with the fine toothed defect comb. |

well just got the car done today at 35% for $270 at Instant Windscreens. They were alright, took two hours instead of a whole day without my car quoted by other tinters. There are a few tiny air bubbles in the back windscreen yet i rekon it must be because my speakers are in the way.
There not too bad, they left a few bits and pieces in mi car, and mi stereo was up wen i turned on the ignition so they had a fiddle a bit but overall good!
I also got a crack in the front windscreen fixed for $50 which is good cos it was defectable before! |

If you aren't overly happy with the bubbles- theres no shame in taking it back.
I'm pretty sure Instant offer a life time warranty. |

my cars got 20%. looks like a homemade job, got lots of bubbles on the side windows, specially the rear 2.
Bit hard to see at night, but I love it. just wish i had no bubbles. |

i don't know if mine are illegal or not but its pretty dark and never been asked about it, just say you got your roadworthy with the vehicle the way it is then they cant argue. i have sensitive eyes and i find the dark tint takes the brightness level right down and cabin temp reduces.
And by the way, they are supposed to get the bubbles removed when the adhesive hasnt set, they do it with an electric air powered heating device which looks and acts like a iron to smooth out the film. must of been an apprentice |
Cheers, Nodg. |
