It doesn't make ANY difference in power, or in performance. You get slightly quicker response from the engine, but the car WILL NOT go any faster. My car has one, but it was on there when i got it. Keep your money and put it towards something else useful for your car... |

v6 to v8 is about 5 mil differance and it doesnt necesserily make your car go harder, but the motor will work a little more efficiantly with a bit more push on acceleration. but as par10 said little to no differance in performance unless you have a motor taking in alot more air. when you put a sports exhaust on your getting the gasses out quicker, so to accomidate you make the air/fuel in quicker, like the throttle body you want, then some differant injectors, magna one fit straight in i have a set on my vp. with all aspects of your motor 'breathing' easier thats when all your mods work together. |

you wont watch the fuel needle drop, the iac connection and dimensions are basically the same and the hardest part of swapping over is one of the bolts under the throttle body, other than that you should be able to see how if bolts on-off. but 2 things to watch out for are, gaskets when reinsatting make sure there is no leaks, and tghe acc./tv cable, just undo the top plate of your existing detup instead of dissasembling the whole lot. |

they fit straight on but as nodq said maybe get some new gaskets for it , because if u get a vacum leak u will have all sorts of problems! |

it took me 15 mins to pull off and put on easy job but the sensors were fukd on the 5lt throttle body so i put v6 sensors on it . did notic responce is better but it doesnt go any harder . i paid $50 i was lucky it was worth it every little thing you do to your car will pay off. fit a 5l throttle body with a cold air intake with a k&n filter |

Twin throttle bodies start running up the $$$ and thats provided there is even one available for the six which I am not sure about.
*Everyone I have ever spoken to about upsizing throttle bodies has claimed it is a waste of time... at the end of the day, the manifold will provide the same level of restriction- whether the throttle body is 65mm or 80mm the inlet manifold will flow its max regardless. As I understand it, theres not much room for movement before you hit that max figure.
How much were you looking to spend and I'm sure someone here could recognise a better option in the bang for your bucks stakes. |

m8 unless your realy gonna spend $$$ on the engine?? I.e crank, port polish, forged pistons , racing roller rockers well then by all means do it !!! But your only 17 ( dont get me wrong I'm not having a go at your age at all ) U have a dream car in mind??? Do the vn up just enough! A throttle body is gonna do sh1t in the long run! I f u wanna bit of kik out of ya vn do as the boys suggested and get a v8 throttle body, then buy a vs cai kit then buy a kn panel filter and run the cai directly into ya airbox ( yes even if ya have to cut it ) unless your using the car 4 drags that would give u enough power to kik most cars in the ar5e on the street!! if ya gonna use it 4 a bit more have a look at getting a custom memcal tuned to your car!!! A shift kit wouldnt go astray either! |

Perhaps speak to COME about their 4.2 stroker kit (I think its 4.2 IIRC). Ask about induction options for it. |

Personally- I think the COME stuff is overpriced for what it is and a lot of people out there agree but it should give you some kind of idea. |

take your car to a proper engineering shop that will rebuild your motor with custom parts to suit your needs. come is off-the-shelf products, just like an off the shelf chip, one size fits all but if you want reliability and performance go the full hog. do it properly or not at all |
