Does anyone know any way of how to tighten security in ur car cause im pretty sure mine wouldnt be hard to break into! Any home remedies besides an alarm system or immobilser. Im heaps scared if i get a sub that some1 can easily steal it!
And my drivers side door has a loose window possibly making it even easier to break into! PLEASE HELP!

i would say that you anker the sub down heaps good so it is hard to get out...then the time delay shld be enough... but i got all my ignition wires shortened so that you cant hot wire while my alarm was being put it... and dont advertise you have a sub... eg put stickers of the brand all over your windows... other then that it is just luck of the draw |
Who would have though petrol would cost so dam much |

Hmmm... I'm interested. I thoughts a painfully piercing alarm was really the best way of preventing theft like that as it may frighten the thief off before they inflict too much damage or loss. |

There's a whole lot of ways you can improve security of the car. Most of which aren't practical.
The easy ones would be: Alarm Immobiliser Steering Lock Making sure that stuff isn't left on display inside the car (this just makes the car a bit of a target) Get a standard window tint, makes it a little harder to smash the windows, and makes it a bit harder to see what's in the car.
The slightly harder ones would be: Ignition shield (think big metal brace around the steering column) GPS tracker (it's not THAT hard, but it's a bit tougher than a standard alarm)
The impractical ones: Get the windows tinted with a 'smash' resistant coating (the glass will break, but the coating won't budge, the only way to get the window out is to puncture it and hook it out with a strong arse hook) Get a massive German Shepard called "Killer" and leave him chained to the steering wheel when you're not there.

I have made some nasty sec devices and dont recommend them.Nor will I give details. However here is one cheapy that really worked (and got me in a little trouble with police). Anyway, I put a battery switch under the seat. It was in the starter main power supply using a welding lead. There was a second circut that duplicated this using same heavy wire but it ran into a metal box I put under the dash. In there the cable split into several 5 amp cables covered in a variety of substances (this is what caused the problem). So,when the creep hot wired my car without the battery switch on the starter current quickly melts the wires in the box and in 2 seconds the car is full of toxic gas. he he he - it made him a tad sick. I later shifted it under the bonnet and increased the smoke effect. When anyone tries to start it the smoke that pours out is truly impressive especially with some chemicals the colours are quite pretty too. |

^^^For someone who doesn't want to give any details, that's a lot of detail.
Nice idea though, might have to try something similar to that for mine one day |

Its the nasty ones I dont want to give details on. I made a few devices for fun including some projectile arrangements relating to the seat, high voltage stuff etc. Even I wouldnt actually drive with that fitted. The smoke bomb is easy and works. No thief will stay in a car with smoke erupting. A friend hooked the door light switch to a small smoke bomb. had five seconds to switch off once the door was opened. |

A better way to do that would be to wire your car with an alarm system, and have it hooked into that. So that when the alarm goes off, if it's not dis-armed after 10 seconds (just in case you set it off accidently), the smoke bomb goes off.
As for the projectiles in the seat, while that's a rather novel idea, it's also one of the stupidest ideas too. |
