Yep...I've read it...nope...I wouldn't recommend it.

Having had a bit of a read of it, and spending a bit of time googling, it seems like it's very much along the same lines as so many of the other scam 'chips' on the market. It's true, it may improve the power, but it's going to send your fuel usage through the roof.

Not only that, most devices like that one actually cause the engine to run so rich that it starts to cause problems with the exhaust system because of the volume of unburnt fuel entering the exhaust pipes.

Save those $8, put them towards some fluffy dice or a little neon light stick. Either of those would be a better buy than the 'mod chip'.

Those neons that I've got are the Aerpro 6" 5mm thick super neons. You can pick them up at most Repco stores (if you are prepared to wait this is the cheapest place to get them), or any Ricerbarn stocks them, but they cost about double.

I've got blue parking light globes in mine...well...I run with the normal ones, but if I want to scare crap out of bums in small country towns, I run with the blue ones. Rolling through a small country town at 11PM on a Saturday with all the blue lights on is fairly amusing. Pretty much everyone just stops what they are doing and stares at you driving past. Funny stuff.

I will be doing a write up on them at some point, BUT...more importantly, I've gotta go and have breakfast, because today is the day I'm doing my suspension (there's a writeup coming on that).
