You should be able to get the FE2 springs from any wreckers (if you want to take the risk with second hand springs), other than that, get in touch with your local Holden dealer, they MIGHT still have some lying around somewhere.

Failing that, there are several spring manufacturers who offer springs which are the same height as the FE2 setup in the VN. Any springs that claim to drop the car by 1" from standard will do you nicely. I'm not sure which of the Pedders springs it is, I know with Whiteline it's the 'control' range of springs for the VN that matches FE2 pretty closely.

As for shocks/struts...gas shocks/struts have a longer life and don't fade as quickly when the bumps keep on coming. If you have the money, I'd recommend Monroe GT Gas shocks/struts, but they aren't cheap. Failing that, any of the Pedders shocks/struts should be fine. It'll make it a bit stiffer, but not like a billy-cart.

Whiteline control springs to suit a VN commodore V6 sedan cost $158.18 for the front and the same for the back. Grand total of $316.36 for springs.

Part number 73500A (front) and 79600A (rear). I'll be picking mine up either tomorrow or Monday

Dunno about the prices from Holden, you'd have to go and see if they still have them, there's a chance that they aren't available new any more.

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.
