is it possible to have a slight loss of power from having a stage 2 cam with out a performance exhaust and extractors, i have alot of mods to increase airflow, but no mods to get the exhaust gasses out. i do have an exhaust and extractors ready to go on. but im just curious?

It could be possible because your cam would have a longer lift duration meaning that there is more air/fuel going in as well as more exhaust gases going out. If you have the standard system on this possibly wont let the exhaust gases out at the desired rat causing a slight loss of power.
Anyone else have any thoughts on the matter??

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.

the standard headers and exhaust/cat are ****e..you WILL find a massive increase in performance (maybe not hp so much) but response and the engine will run alot smoother..
the engine is struggling as the exhaust gasses can not escape as quickly as the air/fuel mixture comes in..
VNSVLE is exactly right, before putting my system on i did alot of research and found that this is the case(even with standard engine)..
definatly put that system you have and you'll love it(so will the engine)
hope this helps mate
