| Manuals are good for fun but can be really painful in traffic. They do get slightly better fuel economy. Basically it is up to you weather or not you want it. Personally I love both( i have a manual V6 and an auto V8). If you want it get it. You shouldn't have any drama's doing the conversion if you have all the necessary parts.. If you dont like it just change it back, Simple!! |
What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared. |

I always wished my car was a manual, and a part of me still does. But the truth is, my car goes hard and well wether its a manual or auto, and I love the easiness of driving an auto, I still have control over the gears. not quite to an extent of a manual, but still good.
If I had the spare cash and/or parts, I would. But there are other things the money is better spent on for me. |

| The other alternative is to manualise your auto with a stage three shift kit. |

| Stage 3 shift kit is around 200-300 depending which way you go. If you just get all the pieces to do the job completely yourself it is under the 200 mark. If you get the valve body as an exchange already setup ready to be put in I think it is about 300. |

| just get a stage 2 shift kit and a 2500 stall converter, that will change the power transfer to the wheels quite a bit and make your car heaps quicker than it already is |
Cheers, Nodg. |

| Manuel conversion is easy. ive done it a few times. just need the manual flywheel and clutch. yeh is a pain in trafic but just change your diff ratio to a skyline centre (3.9). will drive sweet. |
