Get onto Castlemaine Rod Shop they may be able to help you out

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared. |

well just so everyone knows i have contacted Castlemaine Rod Shop and they don't have anything there as they have never done a v6 into a datsun 720 Ute and i have contacted v6 conversions about 7 times and they wont reply and i don't feel like making anything so it looks like i might have to put a ca18det in it when i decide what i'm going to do i will yet you all know and show some pics |

No good that you cant get it sorted. Should be a nice little project with a CA18 in it though |

yer i don't know if the v6 conversion place is still on x-mas break but the bloke next door to me does work on all turbo engines and has a ca18det on him that he will sell to me for 250 and i have around 3000 to spend on it, Ive been reading up on the ca's into a datsun 720 and they line up using the 720 engine mount on the right hand side of the motor and the ca engine mount on the drivers side once it in there i can putt it out and put 2400 into the motor and get around 700hp out of it keeping the datsun 5 speed with the ca bell housing, for 2400 i can get forged pistons, adjustable timing gears, top mount turbo manifold, timing belt kit,pro-comp cams, water pump, ecu, head gasket,APR head studs ect so yer should be a fun project. i just wish the v6 parts were as cheap as them |
