I'm in the process of lowering my vn at the moment. I'm getting an approx 2.5" drop from standard Executive ride height. I've driven a vn with a 3" drop all round, running 17" rims. Was bloody horrible to drive, too rough, scraped over speed bumps, etc etc. But i've also driven an Executive with a 2" drop, running 16" rims, and it was magnificent to drive. Handling will be improved no matter how low you go, but more than 2" will give you a pretty harsh ride, and most likely some major scraping... A lot of it is your personal choice, but i personally wouldn't go further than 2-2.5", depending on how high your car sits.

and get new springs... I got mine retensioned for around 300bux and a 3inch drop has sagged to what is almost undrivable... I have trouble getting up driveways, multilevel car parks etc and i now take the speed hump scraping for granted

Yeah i was thinking of a 2 inch drop with 17 inch rims, i was considering running 18 inch but not sure if they would fit or look right.
