You'll need to be working INSIDE the door for this one.
1) Remove the lock security shield retaining screw and by pushing the shield upwards, remove it from the door cavity. 2) Disconnect the lock cylinder control rod from the door lock by releasing the retainer clip. 3) Withdraw the slide clip from the rear of the exterior door handle. 4) Manoeuvre the handle section from the escutcheon from inside the door, then remove the escutcheon and seal from the door.
When you're putting it back in just make sure the seal is in the right spot, and don't forget the security shield, it just makes it a bit harder to break in. |
