Just wondering, being a relatively new user how this site started, and whos the boss? I know dave is the genius behind it but was it also his brainbaby?

you really want to know ask dave !! As far as I know ( I know mods should know every thing hey) its all daves !! There was a time when the site was run by Dave and another fella by the name of gregga! Can I ask this whats with all the questions??
Originally it was set up with a mate (Gregga) who I worked with years ago in a very different format. We both had the interest VN's and we started this site, and then it was closed down for about 12 months after 3 years of operation. I then re-opened it on my own and did the total redesign as there was quite a few people that wanted to put information for the VN online.
We lost what we had from the earlier days. We had quite a few great members after the site was re-opened who got pissed off at others who started to play up, hence why I put a quick stop to that as soon as a users starts to upset the others. I have a great team in the mods who do not let users get out of hand and if they do, they let me know and I fix their account.
The site is simply for informational purposes and serves no other purpose but to bring the VN community together to give them a place to find out how to get and keep their car running for free. We do not arrange "cruises" as the insurance would cost a fortune and I tried it once where only 2 others turned up. So a waste of all our times are crusie meetings.
