| I have seen this wire a few time's not sure on it's purpose. Just a loose end maybe for some diagnostics?? |
What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared. |

hey vnsvle ill ask you this cause you have a v8 and level 3 dash..... after the new coolant sensor i reset the ecu blah blah what you normally do and now when im driving the fuel consumption is alot higher, especially when im off the throttle, ie pulling up to lights and braking and redicing speed it ranges from 65-99 litres/100kays when doing so and doesnt seem normal, i might be looking at a presure regulator or ignition repairs. and yes the wire does look like a diafnostics cable of soem sort as i cannot find a plug for it and i searched for about 20 minutes getting more and more frustrated, it seems odd to put a dead wire at that location as its not easily accessible |

| and also what does the 'fail' in the led part of the cluster mean??? im starting to belive that its more for the dash condition/performance as it says fail even with the motor not running |

| What mode are you in on the LCD display when it says fail?? and yes when coming to a stop for some reason the fuel consumption goes through the roof. Not entirely sure why but yes mine does that to. Does it do it whilst on the highway slowing down?? Not to a complete stop but just slowing down and then speeding up again?? |

| cruising on the highway and maintasining speed in city driving circumstances it is quite low, city-11-16, highway -6-11 litres. i am starting to believe the wire isnt supposed to go anywhere.... but can you tell me what the fail comment means and what section of the ecu/dash cluster it is represtenting. and when it says fail it is when i hold down reset and plus at the same time whilst starting the car/turning igition on, and it says fail when the plus and minus buttons are pushed at the same time!!! its a test for something but i dont know what! |
