I recently purchased my first VN. I bought this car from a private seller. At the time of purchase I didnt realise that Someone (regrettably) has gotten in and deff had a play with the engine bay, electrics and other things. Most things I have fixed up however I am experiencing a very low rev problem. To the point of it stalling whilst driving along the road twice. Apart from losing the power steering and having a few desperate seconds of trying to roll to a safe stop. The car would not start again.
The crank angle sensor was replaced and also the coil pack, full service done, leads etc all changed. Its been put on the tech one but returned some varied results.

Has anyone ever experienced this issue?? It would seem to be that after starting it cant seem to "find its place" where it should be idling but after a bit finds the right idle.

Ideas??

Yeah,CAS is the first culprit but if its not that i would also change the computer, yours may have been rechipped if someones been playing around with it.In replacing the coil pack did you also replace the ignition module it sits on? Also new fuel pump & filter, good luck.
