Starting in the driveway

hi all,ive got a problem with my headlights,low beam wasnt working but parkers and hi beam still work,tried changing bulbs and still nothing,so my mechanic said it was the switch,so changed that and the lights worked for 2 days then when driving the low beam has gone again,but still have parkers and hi beam,any advise would be great.
