Depends what they are doing. If it's just the springs/shocks/struts then it's a bit higher than what I'd be willing to pay, but then again, you're paying for labour aren't you?
If it's springs/shocks/struts/panhard rod/full set of bushes and labour then it's a good enough price. You could have done it all for less than that, but if you don't want to do the suspension yourself, it's okay.
Bite off more than you can chew, and chew like hell - Peter Brock (1945-2006)
i was going to do it all myself and the parts were gunna cost 900 but i tryed to change my bll joints a couple of weeks back and i had no chance of gettingt them out so i'll just get them to do it. how would i go about getting sway bars and panhard rod. how much will they set me back?
To change the ball joints you need a press to remove the old one's and replace with new ones as they are a press fitted into the lower suspension arm. A whiteline panhard rod was quoted to me from autobarn as $159 for an on car adjustable rod. Sway bars i have not yet priced unfortunately. That price was Central Queensland.
What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.
