Does anyone know what comes with the VN S. Ive just bought one and i my previous car was the lexen/VN and the one ive just bought goes a hell of alot harder/faster.
It does have a CAI home job, lowered and a 2 1/2 inch exhaust system from the CAT back on it but i dont think its a sports exhaust. But to get to my point is there like a better computer in the VN S or something else they have done to them??

First up techincally a 2.5" exhaust is classified as a 'sports' exhaust because it's a larger bore than the orriginal. That said, being cat back about the only thing that does to change your car is gives it a different exhaust note.
There is no difference between the execudore and the s-pack in terms of power output. The difference in the drivability that you're feeling could well be just down to having a different car. And I'm not kidding, some VN commodores are real slugs, and some go like rockets. It could be that you've just got your hands on a rocket ;)
That said, the CAI will be helping if you didn't have one on your previous car. There's also a slight chance that there was some engine work done on it by the previous owner.
Since you've just gotten it, make sure your t/b opens to 100% and you might find that it wants to go even harder |

thanks for the info dude! Umm yeh i had to change the thermostat so while the t/b was off i checked it and its opens to 100% and i gave it abit of a clean aswell.
I dont think there has been any engine work done to it. But it might of because the previous owner had just rebuilt the motor and had only done like 20,000k's with the rebuilt motor. Lol i got it for $1,200 as well fairly cheap.
Umm ill put some pics up soon just got to get time to do it.

jack it up and take a look and see if the extractors have any tags or are stamped with a brand and generally they flow smoother than the factory ones... as for cam... unless you crack it open, just get someone with experience in modifying or racing and they will be able to tell you |
