What's the difference between understeer and oversteer? Understeer is when the driver is scared. Oversteer is when the passenger is scared. |

Heya.... Sorry I didnt put into a classified...
How much for the VL?? is it manual?? Whats the interior like? Tell me all about it lol Reason I cant have manual is that I have had 2 left knee operations now... sucks I know... love the manuals... but i am stuck with auto for now...
I need to replace the centre bearing in my tail shaft, and thought instead of paying $500 for someone to do a 30 minute job, I wanted to remove my one, stick in another until I get the other one fixed as I cant compress out the other bearing, I need someone else to do it... |

Heya... I know it shouldnt cost so bloody much, but some mechanics are rips.... they quoted me that to pull out the tail shaft, press out and in the bearing, then re-install.... I said it was max 30 minutes to do with a little amount of bearing grease used.... couldnt believe it...
But if you know anyone in Qld that would help, then that would be sweet lol |

Heya... Where abouts are you?? I have a dark blue one, wanting to redo the interior in it and a few other bits and pieces...
I managed to get my hands on a tail shaft today and installed it... I tell ya what, If I ever have to do it again, it will be too soon lol getting it in and out was easy, but that centre bracket would not budge to get the bolts back in, but I managed to wench it in.... |

PS - Now I have installed the tail shaft, I took for a test drive, no wheel shudder which is awesome... I could see in the centre bearing part, something had frayed and looked bad.. BUT I could hear the slightest clicking noise, could only hear it when you passed another car or wall as the sound would bounce off of it... What do you reckon it could be?? |

I am near Rockhampton little far to travel for just bits and pieces. Good to hear that you have fixed the main problem. Where does the clicking noise sound like it is coming from?? |
