Hi everyone!
Saw the Eric Bana documentry film "Love The Beast" yesterday afternoon. Pretty good i thought. It is not only a look at Bana as a rev head, but it also looks at how his passions have not changed despite his fame and fortune. I could relate to his passion, as i am sure everyone else on this great website/forum could also.
Seeing this doco confirmed what i have felt for the last 8 months since i inherited my car from my grandfather, and that is, I LOVE MY BEAST! I know my car isnt a Ford, or a Ferrari, but hey, it is a symbol of my grandfathers hard work and passion. I am a Ford man, but hey, this car is my pride and joy. She is my BEAST! The car has personality and character, and i do look at the photo i have of my grandfather that stays in the car on a regular basis, and i smile with pride.
When i am with my mates who mostly wear "Blue Oval" shirts, they ask me what it is like driving the enemies car, and i reply "I LOVE MY BEAST, she is a Commodore, and i love her"! They shut up after that, becuse they can see my pride and they accept it.
Anyway guys, go see the movie/doco as i am sure You will all relate to it.
Kind regards, VN91SX
