Hi guys and girls!
I got an email this afternoon from Street Commodores saying that they want to put my car in their magazine. This means alot to me as I have a strong emotional and sentimental attachment to the car. It became a goal of mine when I started doing things to the car, and it is now a way for me to thank my grandfather who, when he passed away, gave me the car. When he told me he was leaving the car to me in his will, it was his way of saying that he trusted me to look after his pride and joy.

| Gday guys, just got back from my one week holiday, and I have noticed that my posting that said I wouldnt be on here for a week is not on here. Anyway, I am back, and thankyou to jas and trizo for your replies. I will tell you guys as I find out more. |

The day has finally come boys and girls!!!!! After the release of Street Commodores issue #154 was delayed by 9 days, it has finally hit the news stands, and all i can say is, what a feeling it is to see my grandfathers pride and joy in a magazine.
I am so touched by the fact that they used my words in the little article. It may only be a little article, but it is big to me. Thanks to the guys at Street Commodores for putting it together tastefully and coming up with a fitting title for the article.
A "LONG-LASTING LEGACY" can be read on page number 143 of issue #154. Enjoy guys and girls. This one is for you pop, love ya! |

| Thanks Trizo! The cam was a pretty stressful experience because the car came back to me with a much stronger character about it, and at the time i thought "oh my god, i have done the wrong thing, i have turned my grandfathers car into some bloody monster". That was a big shock to me, but i got over it once i realised the quality of the work that had been done. I hope you guys can all get a copy of it soon to see it. |

Thanks Leebo. I was very happy with the fact that they used my words and have acknowledged that by quoting me by using "". Very happy!
A mate of mine who is Ford man, purchased the magazine and congratulated me on it, but even put the Ford vs Holden rivalry to the side when he said to me that the car looks awesome in the magazine, but "the beast" is better in the flesh. |

| got a copy...car looks really really well kept....well done to ur pop for keeping it in such good condition and well done to you for respecting that as allot of people these days inherit cars from family mebers that are kept in really good condition and absoluty demolish them. but not in this case....thumbs up to you:) |

| Thanks jas! My brother and i have always been Ford crazy, now he gives me a hard time about what i own and what i have done to it. I couldn't care less that it doesn't have a Ford badge on it as i think it is a real sharp looking car. Long live the VN! lol |

Yeah i know what you mean i hate it when people get mint condition cars handed to them from there grandparents and write them off them shrug their shoulders and look for something else going "All well it was **** anyway i got it 4 free"

| I have only put up pictures of my engine bay Dazz. There were two photos i put up, and they can be found in the "technical modifications" forum. The forum title was "pod filter cold air enclosure" which is located in page 2 of the "technical modification" forum. |
