hey guys. i've got executive door panels in my car, and am thinking bout getting vr pockets and speaker mounts for my front doors, i've got a set of 6" speakers that i just pulled out of my parcal shelf and put 6x9"'s in. how do i wire up the 6"'s in the front doors? where do they need to go and how do i hide the wiring? any suggestions would be great guys!

funny you ask i just did the exact same thing on the weekend. i put the vr/vs speaker door pockets onto mine.
first you gona have to take of the door trim and if your trims never had pockets before make the holes appropriate to screw in through the back.
if you just run your 6" speakers off the head unit run in down by the fuse panel and you'll see a little rubber seal pop it off with pliers and feed the wires down though the holes down into the door. make sure they are taped up so they don't short out. And the window will still be able to operate properly i checked it out.
when you pulled the speaker and pocket of that vr you would have had a crappy speaker pull that out and put yours into that black mount.
you will notice this mount is angled to point up to the drivers ears. make sure you have this around the write way or the pocket won't fit over it.
screw that with 4 screws onto the door trim.before that plug the wire onto the speaker otherwise you will have to pull it all apart so have plenty of length on the wire.
then you put the pocket in the correct place and screw it on thought the back and that should be on then pop it onto the door again.
you will notice having done this that it is not quite the same as in the way it fits cos it was never meant to originally but you will have to possibly make some molds to dress it up a bit if your fussy.

yeah that's okay just make sure you plug the wire onto the back of the speaker before attaching it to the door and putting the pocket and speaker cover on. otherwise you won't get it on.
