not worth it m8!!! If you want a performance chip get 1 custom made , and then dyno tuned ! At least this way the chip is tuned to your car and will give you a considerable power increase! Quite frankley I wouldnt buy any mod chips of ebaY!

this is an old school trick that you use on early model fuel injected cars that have a map sensor you connect a resistor to the postive and negative to make the sensor read a differant value, thus telling the ecu to add more fuel, but you need to address other things like timing, spark and exhaust/intaker flow. they work but like i said in the last post its a cheap mod that you wont even notice.

the mods on ebay are ment to be plugged into the air temp sensor so they tell the computer that it's sucking in colder air than it is, hence more fuel delivery. but VNs dont have an air temp sensor only a stepper motor which works on the heat of the engine kind of like an automatic choke. if you plug these mods into ur stepper motor u'll eventually ruin ur engine.

i bought one for mi mate! biggest piece of **** eva! all it is is a resistor which u shove into the o2 sensor! it literally is a resistor! apparently ur paying for the instructions and the resistor is free! load of horsecrack i rekon! i wanted to bash that stooge for wasting mi time and hard earned 2 hours at work!
if u dont believe me i can take pics showing u that its just a resistor with cable ties and a plastic bag! crappest cheapest and worst mod eva 4 ur beast! especially if u wanna keep her running smooth and her wear n tear down!!
p. maniac! |

Yeah they're are a load of crap. Half of em aren't even from Australia either so they have no idea whether its good for our cars or not. You will get more buying a cheap memcal and swapping those.

The memcal and the intake resistor are two different things. And I only reccomend the memcal for a little better throttle response and bump up the rev limit. No real hp gained, just a little more responsive.

soory m8 I get what you said the first time around , but in no way will a cheap memcal do anthing for your car but make it use more petrol!! get a custom memcal made and tuned for your car not som1 elses!! A good memcal and dyno can start anywere from $900!

more responsiveness comes from the advanced timing and most ad less fuel to increase revs but your better off adding more fuel to the vn's they take it alot better
