Hi

The seatbelt buckle in my driver's seat is about to snap off due to a large crack in the buckle a few centimetres below the release button. I think this part is called the seatbelt buckle stalk. It is very loose and would be unsafe in an accident. Just wondering where I can find a replacement for this. Holden dealers always tell me they don't stock VN parts anymore due to their age, no luck on-line either - and I'm reluctant to go to a wreckers as how can I be sure that they are not giving me a seatbelt part from a car that had been involved in an accident?
Someone told me that once a car has been in an accident, all seatbelts and components need to be replaced, even if there is no obvious damage.
Also, not sure if I would just need a new buckle and stalk; or need to have all components replaced i.e. new stalk, buckle, tongue and sash. I remember reading somewhere that if a seatbelt component goes, all other components need to be replaced at the same time - I guess this is for safety and roadworthy reasons.
Any advice would be appreciated thanks.
